         HERO?

                               Or a VILLAIN?

The movie script project

            Andrew Jackson was a polarizing president.  Most people either strongly hate Jackson, or look at him as a hero who expanded America.  A movie script writer has the power to portray the main character how they please.  Your job is to write a movie script that has Andrew Jackson as the main character.

The Requirements:

§    Must have at least three different scenes (10 points)

§    Must have at least three different actions of Jackson as president that are shown and explained in the script (20 points)

§    Must have a clever movie title (5 points)

§    Setting of the scene must be described and in italics (10 points)

§    Movie script accurately states the date of the three events you pick (35 points)

§    Members of Jackson’s Cabinet (Kitchen Cabinet) must be characters in the movie (15 points)

§    Script must be typed, double spaced, at least five pages (5 points)
